Hollywood is home to a number of organizations that serve the community.
Hollywood Boosters
The Hollywood Boosters is the oldest business district organization in Portland. We are a not-for-profit group whose purpose is to bring together all merchants, business and professional people of the Hollywood District. Together, we work to develop the district economically and socially, to create a community consciousness for the greatest possible growth. We use our resources to promote community advertising and to encourage co-operation and co-ordination for the advancement of business in the neighborhood.
The Boosters sharted “Hollywood at Night” in 2006, as a monthly event to bring together residents and local businesses. It occurs on the third Thursday of the month, at ___________ .

The library is open every day from morning until 6-8 pm, depending on the days.
Among its many services, it has 5 public community rooms, 24 hour book drop, accessability, computers and WiFi, events & classes, and a full range of books, magazines, and other publications.

The Community for Positive Aging is a 501c3 not-for-profit, age-positive hub that offers a multitude of no-cost donation based services, a devoted team enhanced by peer-run programs, and resources that empower you to learn, connect, and grow. While our services are designed with attention, compassion, and respect for those age 55 and older, we believe that younger and older generations, alike, deserve experiences that reflect positive aging. We’ve created a place where everyone, regardless of who they are, feels part of this community.

Our facility offers a wide range of offerings: Aquatics, Adult fitness & movement classes, Youth & family programs, classes, summer camps, after-school time, and others.
A recent addition to these offerings is the Northeast Village PDX. This is a virtual Village for seniors who wish to age at home, as long as possible. It serves 14 neighborhoods in Northeast Portland.
Members and Volunteers provide a wide range of programs, activities, and services.
